While our warranty requires steam showers be installed by a licensed professional, installation is fairly easy.
What does steam shower installation involve?
Generally speaking, steam shower installation is easiest when planned out before your steam showers arrive. For instance,
- Removing old showers
- Verifying and/or installing electrical wiring for 110V/30amp or 220V if you prefer and installing a GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) for safety if you do not currently have one installed
- Buying standard bathroom silicone or ensuring your steam shower installer brings some
- Ensuring your plumber installs new water and drain lines if you are moving the location where your steam shower will sit
As you can imagine, the installation process goes much smoother when your space is prepared for steam shower installation ahead of time.
Then when your steam shower is delivered, your licensed professional simply hooks up the electrical and plumbing much the same as hooking up a washing machine.
