You may be one of millions planning to give your sweetheart a box of chocolates this Valentine’s Day. Good for you. Not only is chocolate a delectable favorite this time of year, but a healthy choice.
According to lifespan, “Recent studies show that chocolate is packed with antioxidants known as polyphenols that may protect against heart disease and cancer.” How can you beat that? Your favorite treat can help your heart and protect against cancer.
This is good news as chocolate is the number one food Americans crave, according to lifespan and your taste buds. Some go as far as having chocolate stashes throughout the house or office place. Does this sound vaguely familiar to you?
So when you receive chocolate this Valentine's Day.....enjoy each silky bite. It's good for you.

Ok, I know Valentines day is coming soon. I can see that right after one holiday is over the store merchants bring out the next holiday "garb". I like milk chocolate but not dark chocolate. Can I eat a little of both to get the health effects? Awww who cares anyway? It's a holiday right!

I love dark chocolate for a daily treat. I wonder if there is a problem with eating chocolate, drinking wine, and other antioxidants? Meaning is it better to do all of these things, or just one.
