You can spend a lot of money each year on weight loss, gym, and spa memberships. Not to mention the time and energy driving across town to those facilities. How exhausting. I feel drained just thinking about it.
With a family, I like to make things simple. To that end, here are 5 easy weight loss tips that work for a lot of people. I lost around 50 pounds 8 years ago and have kept it off using these same tips.
1. Drink plenty of water. Increasing water consumption flushes waste out and helps your body metabolize fat. (source: Dian Dincin Buchman, the complete book of water healing)
2. Find a partner. People are more successful when teamed up with a friend to share the voyage. Together you can establish mutual goals, exchange healthy recipes, exercise, and more.
3. Use Infrared Sauna Therapy. This is fun and simple. You can socialize, detoxify your body, and burn around 600 calories in 30-45 minutes.
4. Eat a variety of whole foods. Learning new eating habits was my toughest challenge. What I find most helpful is having a variety of quick and health snacks available at all times. O and yes, I got rid of my secret junk food box too.
5. Exercise. There’s no way around it. To lose weight you have to incorporate some form of exercise. I have a stationary bike at home to save time, which is important as a parent.
Set your weight loss goals. Hang up your favorite pair of jeans for focus. And make it happen. 2008 is the year and you can do!

Just big boned? Not anymore. I use all of the above to stay fit now. It's the difference in sitting on the couch and gettin up and goin. I have lost 35 pounds. I did it in 3 months. The use of a sauna is one of my favorite ways to burn a few quick calories. The cd player helps the time go by fast as well. Try it out, you'll love it! I do.

600 calories in 30-45 minutes! That's amazing! I could take a mile run and would not accomplish that. I do think I will Purchase a Sauna very soon. My wife and I will get tons of use out of one of these. Please be ready for my order! I should be in contact by the end of the month.

Okay so I lost 10 lbs just by drinking water and sitting in my sauna for 30 minutes a day. I feel kinda bad cause my wife is doing the same thing and she only lost 5 lbs. I've heard women don't lose weight as men so I guess it's true.
