Endometriosis is the misplacement of endometrial cells which may result in constant pain in any area to which they migrate according to the New International Medical and Health Encyclopedia. The pain of endometriosis tends to start a few days before menstruation and then subsides shortly after the cycle begins. However, when endometrial tissue enters the pelvic region the patient may experience constant back pain near their tail bones and/or rectums. Usually the back ache is alleviated only after its primary cause has been eliminated.
As with all back aches the same preventative and corrective measures medically, and in regards to life style decisions, are suggested. With the wonderful advances- using Far Infrared Saunas -in pain management due to soft tissue injuries or inflammation similar to that which is experienced in most cases of back pain including an endometrial back ache many patients are turning to the technology of Far Infrared Saunas for treatment of endometrial back aches. The gently soothing heat coupled with the penetration and physical manipulation of soft tissues with the Far Infrared waves is essentially a heated massage without the massage therapist’s bill or hassle with scheduling appointments.
The home units- as small as the 1 person mini sauna to being large enough to accommodate four family members -may be used at any point you wish. The pain of endometriosis is the most readily acknowledged symptom of this disorder however there due to the nature of the disorder and the tissue and organs effected; it can have a negative impact on the patient’s ability to become a parent. It is very important, especially for the younger ladies with an interest in becoming mothers to get your self checked out by your ObGyn as soon as you can if you think you may be at risk of having endometriosis. The sooner this disorder is caught the more likely you’ll be able to minimize the impact of endometriosis on your reproductive system and start experimenting with technology, such as Far Infrared Saunas, Steam Showers and Aromatherapy in order to improve your quality of life.

I've never heard of this before. I can use my sauna and it will help with menstruation pains. I have cramps and it's a godsend! I guess I never thought about this before but my symptoms have really subsided in the last few weeks of use. It really goes to show that you never appreciate things until they're gone. Or the other way around.

very interesting! I'll have to tell my wife about this. She doesn't admit to being cranky around that time. She never uses my sauna but maybe after I have her look this up she'll try it!?

Yes, this does work. I have been using sauna therapy for years. It works better for me when I use an infrared sauna. It all makes sense, a heating pad for cramps, remember that? Well those pads have nowhere near the effect of a sauna.
